Analog IC Design Engineer

Job description

You will join an international team of IC and HW/SW developers and play an integral role in defining and developing chips to support the technology and loudspeaker road-maps of USound which is creating products for the market of audio and micro-loudspeakers. You are motivated, with previous hands-on experience and capable of working in a fast-changing environment of a start-up.


Tasks:

  • Participate in the entire design process of Mixed Signal ICs - specification, through development (schematic entry, verification, layout) to final validation
  • Participate in design considerations including considerations for yield, manufacturability and design for test, definition of production test requirements
  • Create time and project plans
  • Manage own work and progress
  • Document and report progress to your manager



Requirements

  • Master’s degree in analog circuit design/ISCD/Electronic engineering
  • 5-10 years of professional industry experience
  • Good communication, fluency in English, German is a plus
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and circuits
  • Good hands-on experience in designing audio circuits (amplifiers, ADC, DAC, PLL, LDO, filters, etc.) is desired
  • Familiar with EDA tools - especially Cadence, MATLAB & Simulink
  • Self-driven, with initiative and able to work independently with minimum guidance
